The Christmas Letters (book #10)

Simon Hoggart, 2004 and 2005.

Humorous book of Christmas letters and commentary. Some very bizarre extracts from the letters:

“Jeremy brought me back a present he had bought at Toronto airport, in haste, when returning from his long weekend. It was a chunky metal bracelet. Unfortunately it was too small for me, so we now use it for poaching eggs.”

“For your information, this newsletter is typed on a DECpc 425 I Intel using the latest Word for Windows package … did I mention that our old cat died after being with us for 19 years? She just got thinner and thinner and then walked off. It was sad, we never found the body, and the boys and I had meant to carry out an autopsy.”
